For the last two days I’ve been out in the Cheviot’s with Keith from the Glencoe Independent Hostel on a Summer ML refresher. Keith needed an extra overnight camp in an area away from Scotland and chose the Cheviot’s as a perfect remote area to practice his navigation skills, ahead of his forth coming ML assessment. Over the 2 days we concentrated on brushing up his skills in route planning, feature recognition, micro navigation involving bearings and pacing as well as the usual scenario based discussion on situations and hazards. I think Keith will agree he found these last 2 days very usefull and and it has put him in a good position for a pass on his assessment. Good luck Keith.
